The Metropolitan Emergency Services Board has established 911 network standards, adopted in 1996 and revised in October, 2000, provide a framework of requirements and considerations for integration into the metro area 9-1-1 system. The Standards outline responsibilities for local service providers, PSAPs, system integration and the Board.
